The trustees retained the services of Pacific Blue Cross* to administer the plan on their behalf. Each month, participating employers contribute to a trust fund on behalf of their eligible employees. The trustees own and invest the fund, which is used to pay for performance coverage and operating costs. The information on this website is an overview of the benefits of the Southern Interior Health and Wellness Plan and does not constitute a contract. This plan only covers the benefits listed above, which are included in the plan summary and plan brochure on the website. Any insured employee may consult a copy of the plan text at any time by contacting their employer or local union office. For information, we have included references to other negotiated benefits and some government programs. Note: Designated part-time employees are insured for full benefits, except that WI is half the regular amount. The cost of benefits other than HE is shared equally between the employer and the designated part-time worker.
